Laal Singh Chaddha’s Hindi adaptation of “Forrest Gump”, a 1994 Oscar-winning movie by Tom Hanks, is Laal Singh Chaddha. In pivotal roles, Amir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan play the lead roles. The movie is produced and directed by Advait Chaudan, who also directed Aamir Khan in the musical drama Secret Superstar. It runs for 2 hours 50 minutes, which is quite long.

Aamir Khan said no to the question about an OTT release for Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir Khan stated clearly that he doesn’t want an OTT premiere to happen anytime soon.
Amir also stated that one of the main reasons why theater-goers are less curious is the fact that movies go on OTT so quickly right after the Theatrical release. Aamir said that he does not know much about Industry Standards, but that he tries to maintain a gap of 6 months.
Some reports claim that Amir Khan Productions sold the digital rights to the film to OTT giant Netflix. The movie will premiere on OTT platforms in the next year.

Amir Khan, despite all the controversy, is actively promoting his film. In one of his Interviews, he stated, “He feels sad that some people are saying that, in their hearts, they believe that this is someone who doesn’t like India.”
