Light & Magic OTT Release Date, Trailer, Plot & More

Light & Magic OTT Release Date

Disney+Hotstar has revealed the release date for its long-awaited six-part documentary series Light & Magic, based on the storied work of the world-renowned special visual effects Division that is part of Lucasfilms “Industrial Light & Magic” (ILM).

The original series of Disney+Hotstar directed by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Justin Wilkes, Lawrence Kasdan, Kathleen Kennedy and Michelle Rejwan is scheduled to launch all six episodes in 2022 on the 27th of July, on the platform. Trailer & Plot

In addition to revealing the release date for the show, the creators also revealed its trailer. The show follows the complete story of the cult American Motion image visual effects firm “Industrial Light & Magic” starting from its beginnings to the way it reached its milestones. All aspects of the story will be explored in the show.

ILM was established on the 26th of May 1975 by the well-known Hollywood filmmaker and businessman George Lucas. It is a division of the film producer’s company Lucasfilms.

ILM was the creator of the first-ever visually stunning effects from the well-known Star War franchise. It is today the most sought-after VFX maker in Hollywood. Through the years, it has been involved in more than 350 films that have won 16 Oscars and 33 Sci-Tech awards, and three Emmy Awards.
