The India National Defense Academy (NDA) is one of the most prestigious institutions in the country, and it has been so since its inception in 1950. The NDA conducts its examination twice a year, once in June and once in December.
Understanding the Exam Pattern
Each NDA exam is divided into four sections—English Language Proficiency, General Knowledge, Mental Ability Test and Military Tactics & Physiology. The General Knowledge section is divided into six topics–Geography, History, Polity, Economy, Science and Current Affairs-each carrying equal marks. Both MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and descriptive questions are asked in each topic. A total of 100 questions are asked in English Language proficiency test with a duration of 90 minutes.
