Gulmohar is an upcoming Familly drama which is directed by Rahul Chittella who is best known for directing Rashika Dugal, Saurav Goyal, and Suyash Joshi-starrer “Shor Se Shuruaat”, an anthology of seven short films.
The upcoming heartfelt family drama film is bankrolled by Fox Star Studios in association with Chalkboard Entertainment and Autonomous Works while its original music is composed by Siddhartha Khosla.

The film has a talented star cast that includes National award-winning actor Manoj Bajpayee, who was last seen in Netflix’s anthology drama series Ray and is currently busy with the third season of his superhit crime thriller series “The Family Man”.
It also marks the huge comeback of legendary Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore after 12 long years as she was last seen in Danish Aslam’s directorial romantic comedy film “Break Ke Baad” (2010) which starred Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan in lead roles. The veteran actress said that she is thrilled to be back in the industry with this project.

The film also stars veteran Marathi and Bollywood actor Amol Palekar of Gol Maal (1979) fame, Simran Rishi Bagga of Tamil musical drama “Vaaranam Aayiram” fame, and young actor Suraj Sharma, who is best known for the 2012 adventure drama film “Life of Pi”, directed by Ang Lee, in crucial roles.
Gulmohar OTT Release Date
Today on May 10, 2022, the makers of the film announced the wrap of its shoot that went on floor on March 12, 2022. Along with the announcement regarding its release date. Along with that the makers also told that the film will be released on Disney+Hotstar in August 2022. As soon as we get more updates, we will update the information.
About the Film
The plot of the film revolves around a multi-generational Batra family, who are planning to move out of their 34-year-old family home. As they shifted to the new house, the relocation triggers a rediscovery of the bonds that have held them together as a family, while dealing with personal secrets and uncertainities.
