NEW DELHI: Parliament Wednesday handed the Criminal Procedure (Identification) Bill that seeks to permit investigators to collect sure identifiable info of convicts and different individuals for functions of identification and investigation in legal issues. The Criminal Procedure (Identification) Bill, 2022 replaces the Identification of Prisoners Act, 1920.
