Shriya Sharma is a Bollywood actress who started her acting career as a child star and rose to fame for the role of Sneha Bajaj in Starplus’ hit TV serial Kasauti Zindagi Ke (2004–2005).

Shriya Sharma was born on Wednesday, 9 April 1997 (Age 23 years; Until 2020) in Balampur, Himachal Pradesh. Shriya went to Lokhandwala Trust School (2003-2013), where she studied till 10th standard, and then she studied CBSE (2013-2015) till 12th standard at RN Poddar School, Mumbai. Later from 2015-2020 he did Bachelor of Laws & Bachelor of Laws from Pravin Gandhi College.

Shreya started working as an actress at the age of four. His first role was as Lord Krishna in Zee TV’s ‘Kanhaiya’ in 2001. Her most prominent role was as the young Sneha Bajaj in ‘Kasauthi Zindagi Ke’, for which she won several awards.
In 2008 Shriya was seen on StarPlus’ game show ‘Kya Aap Panchvi Paas Se Tes Hain’ where she and four other students (Theeriya Sorecha, Anubhav Motilal, Siborna Gosal and Milanjeet Singh) were contestants for Rs. 5 crores helped to get the prize. The show was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and he often fondly called Shriya his ‘princess’ during the show.
Shriya was also seen in many shows including Boogie Woogie, Carry On Shekhar and Kumra. In 2015 he appeared on EPIC Channel’s show ‘Kathagal Rabindranath Tagore’.
As of 2020, Shriya has 18 films and several TV shows. He has done numerous commercials for brands like Sunfeast Pasta, Whirlpool, Relaxo Footwear and Camplon.

Shriya mainly works in South Indian films and made her debut in Jai Chiranjeeva (2005; Telugu), Chillunu Oru Kaadhal (2006; Tamil), and Soundarya (2007; Kannada). She was also seen as a child star in South Indian films like Robo, Racha, Tuneeka Tuneeka and Ududu.
In 2014, she made her debut as a leading actress in the South Indian film Kayakudu directed by Kamal G. Shriya was also seen as the lead actress in ‘Nirmala Convent (2016)’ opposite South Indian superstar Megha Srikanth’s son Roshan. Although the film was not well received by the audience, Shriya’s performance earned her a good reception.
Apart from South Indian films, Shriya has also acted in Bollywood films like ‘Dhoda Pyaar Doda Magic’ (with Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji), ‘Knockout’ (with late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan), and the 2011 Bollywood film ‘. Chiller Party’.
In an interview after winning the National Film Award for her role as Toothpaste in Chiller Party, she said,
I have acted as a child star in almost 15 films so far and many TV commercials in Tamil and Hindi in the last 13 years, but at one point, I didn’t know if I really wanted to be an actress. But in 2012, I won a National Award for my role in Chiller Party, which changed my life completely. That’s when I realized that I have the desire to become an actress.
